Royal Racing: 2022 - What's New

New items for 2022, new styles, same ethos of making tech-rich, great looking apparel that works on and off the bike.

Royal has always been dedicated to improving life on a bike and the new 2022 range continues our ride along this path. 

Whatever your off-road vice, we have something for you from the Apex race performance line developed on the UCI World Cup and EWS circuits, through our Quantum 4-season technical, trail riding gear, Core casual tech ride gear, Matrix all weather gear and Storm extreme weather line up.

So, whatever the weather, whatever your ride: race track, pump track, gravel track or trail, the 2022 Royal Range - it’s all about life on a bike!

Here's what's new for 2022: 

Apex Jersey

The all-new Apex Jersey is made using technically advanced, 100% recycled, feather light, micro-mesh fabric. It’s designed to wick sweat away from the skin and rapidly disperse the moisture over a large area, enabling the fabric to dry incredibly fast, keeping the jersey feeling dry and comfortable in all conditions

Apex Gloves

The Apex Gloves are designed to fit like a second skin, thin, light with a pre-curved perforated palm to create a crease and seat free connection with your bike. A slip-on formed neoprene cuff keeps them firmly in position and tuff rip-stop, double weave, snag-free back-of-hand fabric keeps you protected from branches. Finished off with a silicone grip print and tech-friendly stitching on the fingertips.

Matrix Jacket

The Matrix jacket is a staple in our lineup and has been a must-have for many seasons. The Matrix is a full-on tried and tested rain jacket with 15.000MVP breathable waterproof fabric, shaped with ride friendly extended sleeves and lower back fit. The Matrix has two external chest pockets that double as vents and one internal with cable routing for earphones. The new colourway for 2022 will definably get you seen. The new Matrix jacket is as practical on a commute as it is out in the wilds.

Matrix Jersey

New for 2022 is the Matrix Jersey. This is a Jersey designed for winter use that has the warmth of a crewneck sweatshirt but with the performance enhancements you’d expect from Royal.  Gridlock fleece provides insulation from its grid-patterned fabric and soft brush inner face for a cosy feel that allows air to circulate and regulate your temperature whilst riding.  The perfect mid-layer for winter use.  Stretchy fabric, small zip pocket on the hip and drop-tail back mean it's everything you'd want to keep the cold out on a long winter ride. 

 
Storm Glove

New for 2022 the Storm Glove has a thermal windproof and water repellent outer fabric, with a full fleece inner face, keep your hands breathing, dry and warm when the temperature drops without being too bulky. 

We’ve also kept the palms as low bulk as possible to retain a positive bar 'feel' and added grippy silicone print to help you keep a firm grip on your controls at all times.

Extended Neoprene cuffs keep your wrists covered preventing the cold gap between most other winter gloves and jackets. All finished off with fleece thumb nose wipe, phone friendly fingertips and reflective branding.

Quantum Jerseys

Made from recycled drinks bottles, the Quantum Jerseys are 100% recycled without sacrificing any of their performance, sweat-wicking, fast-drying full stretch fabric make the Quantum Jersey great for all conditions.

The same fabric as the Short Sleeve Quantum Jersey, both have our everyday ride fit, not too loose, not too tight just right for all life on or off the bike. All finished off with cuff tabs, and our antic bacterial treatment to kill and keep the odour from taking hold.

Core Jersey

The Core Short Sleeve Jersey looks like a regular casual t-shirt, but its 85% polyester/15% cotton fabric gives you the comfort of a cotton tee with the performance of a polyester tech jersey. Drying 4-times faster than a standard t-shirt, the Core Jersey is good for all-day riding or just hanging out.

The Core Long Sleeve Jersey is made from the same exact fabric as its short sleeve brother. Offering the same fast-wicking, quick-drying, UV protection and has a microbial anti-odour treatment keeping it fresh and stink-free. Making the Core Jersey the true all-rounder.
